The Authors

Sam Soleyn
Sam was born on the island of Saint Vincent in the Caribbean. Under the British education system, he received a classical education until he left the islands at the age of eighteen for further studies in the United States. He studied rhetoric, law, and theology, gaining undergraduate degrees in English, speech and juris doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1982.

He preached his first message at fifteen years old and now works extensively among widely diverse nations—from the United States to countries in Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and the former Soviet Union—and among even more widely diverse racial groups.

He was a believer for nearly twenty years before the reality of God, separate and apart from religion, became clear to him, beginning with a Damascus-Road-style experience. Sam has spoken in more than three-dozen countries and had his messages broadcast on radio, television and the Internet. Though he continues to travel the world, his home is with his  wife, Lucy, in New Mexico.
